Going to adopt Penny, we assumed we would leave with a male dog, and pre-purchased a black collar. When we left with a female dog, we naturally needed a prettier option (and for people to not assume all big dogs are male).
I ended up choosing the collar mostly for the color selection (there are 15!). The selling point however, was the loop for tags. Unlike conventional loops that tags are put on, this little tag lays flat. That means that the cute, engraved name tag I purchased from Etsy is actually viewable, and doesn’t flip back and forth, which is genius.
The collar has two metal loops in the front for leash attachment, and reflective stitching which works well (as seen in the white stitching on the collar in the pictures). There were a few Amazon reviews about the tab breaking, but we’re now going on two years with Penny’s collar, and aside from fuzziness, dinginess, and a couple of loose spots of the reflective material, it’s going strong. Besides, it will be time for a new color soon anyways.
15 color combinations, and five sizes available. Love these collars.
